5 Things: MHS Boosters Meeting, ANGP Workshop and Dog License Late Fees

Here's a quick look at what's happening in Medfield today, April 4.

Today's Forecast: Wednesday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for sunny, with a high near 65. Light wind becoming northwest between 11 and 14 mph. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph. Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 35. Northwest wind between 9 and 14 mph.

Notable Events:

  • The Boosters will meet at 9:15 a.m. in the Teacher's Room located off the Upper Cafe. All are welcome.
  • The Medfield All Night Graduation Party (ANGP) Committee wil hold a decorating workshop tonight from 6 to 9:30 p.m. in the Cafe. Volunteers are always welcome to to assist in these weekly decorating workshops. Many hands are needed so please try to attend. No experience necessary, just your willingness to help.

  • The Medfield Job and Business Networking group will meet from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Daily Room. This Open Networking Group provides support for job seekers who are looking for a new job, changing careers, or those interested in building their professional network.  All are welcome to attend.
  • Children and teens in grades four and up are invited to stop by the Medfield Library every Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. to choose and play from a collection of Wii games. The gaming station will be set up in the lower level meeting room.

Warriors' Wednesday

  • The Medfield girls' softball team travels to Seekonk for a 3:45 p.m. game.
  • The boys' tennis team hosts Xaverian at 3:45 p.m.

Dog License Fees Begin Today: Dog license late fees start today. If you have not licensed your dog at Town Hall yet, the total cost to do so is now $35.
