Tessa Oliver Receives Scholarship from Clariant

Clariant, a world leader in Specialty Chemicals, recently announced its 2014 North America Merit Scholarship Program receipients. Clariant’s North America headquarters is located in Charlotte N.C. and operates a facility in Needham, Mass.

Medfield High School graduate Tessa Oliver of Millis, Mass. has received an annual $4,000 scholarship. Tessa is the daughter of Darin Oliver and Claudia Vautour. She will attend the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she will be on a pre-med track majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology. Tessa was a section leader and soloist in concert chorus and is currently undergoing certified nursing assistant training.

The Clariant Merit Scholarship Program annually awards qualified children of North America region employees with scholarships to the colleges of their choice. Each student will receive a $4,000 tuition award annually for four years of study.
