Community Corner

Sound Healing Sunday Evening March 9 in Uxbridge at State of Grace Yoga and Wellness, 6-8:00pm

Dr. Oz calls sound and vibrational healing 'the next wave in healing.’
Come join us as at State of Grace Yoga and Wellness, 104 East Hartford Avenue, Uxbridge, as we welcome sound healing duo SoundScapers back to the studio. They will build a cathedral of exquisite sound and tone into which we'll wander as a community, seeking serenity, release, and healing. They’ll employ the human voice, guided imagery, the didgeridoo, trance Native American drumming, rattling, and chanting, and over a dozen crystal quartz and Tibetan sound bowls in a deeply therapeutic and relaxing practice. You’ll leave feeling released, relaxed, and rejuvenated.
Come and get your bliss, this is one of the most amazing experiences you'll ever have.
“Everyone has a vibration that is a signature of their health and well-being. Similar to a musical instrument that can fall out of tune through use, our bodies can also fall out of vibrational harmony and potentially develop illness. Stress and negativity create blockages of a healthy flow of energy, showing up in the energy field around our body as lower energy disturbances at first, and later as illness in our physical body. Sound and vibration can be used to re-tune and return us to health and one of the most powerful modalities for this is the use of singing bowls. When there is a deep relaxation through soothing, resonant sound, the body is affected on a cellular level, opening up the flow of energy to move us back toward health." Suren Shrestha, How to Heal with Singing Bowls”
