Medfield Lions gala fundraiser to benefit Reach Out and Read May 17th

 The Medfield Lions will host their Spring Gala at the Center at Medfield on Saturday May 17 from 7:30PM to 10:30PM.  The program will include live music featuring Annie Clay and Better From A Distance. In addition there will be appetizers, raffles and a cash bar.   

     A $20 per person donation is requested.  The proceeds will benefit the Reach Out and Read Program for pre-school children at the Family Practice in Medfield.  

     Reach Out and Read's thousands of doctors and nurses promote early literacy and school readiness to young children and their families in all 50 states. Each year, medical providers at the nearly 5,000 Reach Out and Read program sites nationwide distribute 6.5 million books to children and invaluable literacy advice to parents. Locally, the Reach Out and Read program is provided by the Medfield Family Practice and this fund raiser will help to purchase new books for their program.
