Medfield Lions Donate Chowder Fest Proceeds to FOSI

Last November the Medfield Lions Club teamed up with the Friends of Seniors Inc. (FOSI) to host Medfield’s Fifth Annual Chowder Fest. The event featured comforting chowder tastings from six area restaurants/markets including Basils, Noon Hill Grill, Zebra’s Bistro & Wine Bar, J&L Catering of Medway, Ice House Restaurant at the Kingsbury Club, and Roches Market. Delicious rolls were provided by Blue Moon Bagel Café. Thanks to their generosity the event was a great success. The winner of “Best Chowder” was Noon Hill Grill. At the January Lions Dinner Meeting Lion Tony Centore presented a check for $1,500 to FOSI President Chuck Conti who said “the funds raised will help to enhance the fitness programs at the Center”. Roberta Lynch COA Director thanked the Lions for their continued generosity in supporting Medfield Seniors.
