Field Hockey Earns 10th Victory

It was  Columbus Day match up in Peabody as the Medfield High Field Hockey team played Bishop Fenwick. The busses rolled out of MHS at 8:15am but the Lady Warriors were ready to avenge their first loss of the season. Game time was 10am and the Warriors came out flying, but couldn't score in the first half. Senior Michelle Diggans scored off a pass fron Captain Kelsey Chatterton with 10 minutes remaining in the game. The Warriors held on for the victory. Their record is now 10-3-2 overall. Senior Ellen Tucker and Junior Maggie Spinard played well at midfield and right wing. 3 games remain in the regular season - this Wednesday in Hopkinton, Friday in Medfield - Dover Sherborn on the turf and then Senior Night is a week from Wednesday, 10/23. Game time for Senior Night has been changed to 4:30 on the turf.
