Farmers Market Open Every Thursday

What could be better for the family than fresh picked greens for tonight’s salad or fruit and berries picked today and still fresh on the weekend for snacking or baking? This is the recent concept of Farm to Table that the shoppers will find at the Medfield Farmers’ Market each Thursday on the lawn of the First Parish UU Church, 26 North St.  The market is open weekly from 2 to 6:30 P.M. This season several new farms and kitchens have been added including: local farm raised meat and eggs, homemade desserts and even less familiar foods from the middle east.  Advertising help from The Needham Bank, this season’s new corporate sponsor, includes non-plastic shopping  which help promote Medfield’s green city image. Non-profit organizations and agencies also may have exhibits throughout the summer to help shoppers learn about important causes in which Medfield residents are interested.  There is plenty of parking along North Street and in the rear of the church, overlooking Meeting House Pond.
