Fall registration underway at Parks & Rec

As summer winds down, I wanted to let you know that our fall program schedule is now available on our Web site at www.medfieldrec.com. Many of our popular programs are back, from cooking to yoga, Icky Sticky Goo to Zumba, Munchkin Multi Sports to lacrosse, CrossFit for Kids to Body Sculpting. We also have sprinkled in some new activities, including a Learn to Play Hockey class, a full-year Kindergarten program available in the morning or afternoon on Monday and Wednesday with Val and Ana, or Tuesday morning with Karen to an arts & crafts offering for the middle school age group.

Before we preview some of those activities, I wanted to send out a quick “thank you” to all the families that participated in our summer camps this year. We had record number of campers in our Discovery, Adventure and Teen Xtreme Camps this summer, highlighted by the 155 kids during our Sports theme week (see photo above), which included an appearance from Boston Bruins National Anthem singer Rene Rancourt! So THANK YOU for making our camps so special, and we hope your children had a fun experience with us this summer.

Now it is time to look ahead at our fall programs. Our classes begin the week of Sept. 9, except for the Pre-K and Kinder Soccer Leagues, which will start Sept. 7. We have been working hard at adding to the program schedule this fall. I wanted to call your attention to some programs in this email; complete program/class information is available on our Web site at www.medfieldrec.com.
