Not often does a town like Medfield have the opportunity to host an event featuring an award-winning jazz pianist and inspiring young man like Matt Savage, plus The Boston Conservatory's autism expert Rhoda Savage.
The free event is on March 19 and is called the "The Power of Music" -- hosted by Medfield Music Association and sponsored by MEMO.
Part inspirational stories/part performance, it's a chance for community members to learn how music can transform lives.
Savage, who was diagnosed with autism at age 3, is just one of several success stories that will be shared during the night.
