Big Blue Qualifies for State Tourney on Senior Night

The Medfield High School Boys' Basketball Team defeated Bellingham tonight with some home cookin 68-45. The first time the Big Blue played Bellingham they suffered at defeat in overtime in Bellingham. Senior Drew Shea led the team with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Junior Sean Conroy played very well contributing 19 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. Senior Brian Hunter played aggressively on the boards with 10 rebounds as well.  The Big Blue is now 10-7 overall and 10-6 in the league - qualifying for the post season in the MIAA Tournament. The team still has 3 games remaining. Next up is an away game in Ashland on Tuesday. The Big Blue will be playing for a higher seed with each game remaining.
