Save the Date: Sept. 7 Reception for the New Superintendent

1. Save the date: A reception for Superintendent Jeff Marsden will be held at Medfield High School's cafeteria on Sept. 7. It's a chance to meet him in an informal way.

2. The Zullo Gallery rooftop deck will be open on Thursday, (and on Sept. 5) from 6 to 10 p.m. It will feature a beer and wine bar, grilled food by Susan Goddard Catering, and the exhibit of the summer: "The land, the sky, water and form." 

3. For all of September, exercise programs at the Senior Center will be free. Friends of Medfield Seniors and the Council on Aging will sponsor the cost for participation in Yoga, Tai Chei, Zumba and other programs.  Call (508) 359-3665 for details.

4. I sold my first house after 12 days on the market. Whew! What a relief. Well, two homeowners in Medfield topped that last week. Two homes in town sold after five, and six, days on the market.

5. Save the date, part II: Sept. 28 is the Museum Day Live! This is a national promotion that allows people to enter museums for free. Not a dime. Check out all of the local and regional options, and make sure to reserve your free entry ticket in advance.
