Roche Bros. to Discuss New Market Layout, Offerings

1. Roche Bros. will be at the Medfield Selectmen's meeting Tuesday night to discuss development plans for the former Lord's department store on Main Street. The discussion is expected to include what they have planned for the facility.

2. The Medfield Farmers Market will continue for several more weeks, on Thursday as usual, with just one vendor: Ward's Berry Farm. The market is from 2 to 6 p.m. at the First Parish Unitarian-Universalist Church.

3. Please support your local football team. Several items are now on sale that will benefit the high school team. Warrior keychains will be sold through Sept. 5. And wine carriers will be sold in two local outlets: Larkins and the Medfield Wine Shoppe, as well as by email order.

4. Maybe you noticed over the long holiday weekend, and maybe you didn't, so we'll help spread the good word: Dunkin Donuts has opened on Main Street, having renovated the former Friendly's.

5. And finally, a reminder that Medfield schools will reopen today, so drive carefully out there and expect more traffic around the schools.
