Medfield Field Hockey Team Qualifies for State Tournament

Here are five things to know today to help inform your day.

1. From a post submitted by reader Michael Mason: Senior Michelle Diggans scored two goals to propel the Warriors to a 2-0 victory at Bellingham [Tuesday]. Kelsey Chatterton and Marykate McNeil provided the assists. The Lady Warriors are now 8-3-2 overall and 8-2 in the league. Next game is at home, against Medway, on Thursday.

2. Warrior Superfan football shirts will be available soon for purchase.

3. The Medfield Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at 8 p.m. Wednesday. The agenda includes discussion of whether to allow freestanding signs for businesses at 120 No. Meadows RD.

4. The Medfield Committee to Study Memorials also meets Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m. The agenda includes a review and final design approval for the honor replacement signs at Town Square.

5. Save the Date: The Committee to Study Memorials plans to dedicate the Lee and Snyder Road memorials on Nov. 9.
