Kayaking, Garden Club, Solar Power and More to Start Your Wednesday

Here are five things to help inform your day in Medfield.

1. Are you wondering who keeps our traffic islands looking so beautiful? It's the Medfield Garden Club. Read more about the work they do on their blog HERE at Medfield Patch.

2. Thinking about kayaking on the Charles River? Check out this great YouTube video by Carol Ann Palmieri after she put in at the Medfield/Millis line.

3. Selectman Richard DeSorgher says solar power could save money for Medfield tax dollars. He says Medfield is at least as creative as Norfolk. Read his blog HERE

4. Looking for something to do with the kids today? Consider any of the great programs at the Medfield Public Library like today's Pattycake Place  ages 0-23 months) from 10:30am to 11am, or Book Bunch (ages 2-4 years) 11:30 a.m. to noon.  Get more info HERE.

5. And now let's hear from you: What's the best thing you've done so far this summer? Tell us in the comment box below.
