Jan. 7 Election Set to Replace Rep. Winslow

1. Former state Rep. Daniel Winslow said his goodbyes last week. On Monday, the state set the election date for his replacement. The special election for the 9th Norfolk representative district will be Jan. 7, 2014.

2. The Medfield Selectmen will meet tonight at 7. The agenda includes a discussion of the SWAP area at the landfill, including of a temporary shelter to protect the dropped off goods, and an increase in volunteers.

3. Are you missing a black and white Tuxedo cat with a bent ear? A cat who had appeared for several days on Oxbow Road is at the Medfield Animal Center.

4. If you missed Monday's blood drive organized by the Medfield Fire Department, you can still help the American Red Cross. Visit its website and set up an appointment to give blood at a time that is convenient.
