First Thursdays, and Last Chance for Rooftop Deck at Zullo Gallery

1. The Dwight-Derby Shoppe will open at 4 p.m. today for First Thursday. New arrivals include homemade jams, jellies, relishes, ketchup and mustard from Garden Farm and the Beantown Tales series of children's books by Suzie Canale.

2. It's your last chance of the summer tonight to enjoy the rooftop deck at Zullo Gallery. A beer and wine bar and grilled food by Susan Goddard Catering will be available from 6 to 10 p.m.

3. It's also the last chance to view the summer exhibit, "The Land, the Sky, Water and Form" at the gallery.

4. The Medfield Conservation Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and will continue its review of a 92-unit affordable housing rental apartment complex on West Street. The project, called The Parc at Medfield, was approved in December by the town's Zoning Board of Appeals.

5. Medfield Selectman Osler Peterson will hold open office hours from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the Center on Ice House Road. No appointment is required.
