The imminent closing of Lord's Department Store has already had a significant reaction among members of the Medfield community who are sad to see this Medfield institution go, and wish the Kelly family all the best. There is a growing number of Medfield residents who are interested in preserving the role of Lord's Department Store in the history and culture of the Town. Anyone intersted in helping to plan a celebration of Lords that will take place at Lord's before the end of February is encouraged to attend this meeting. So far, there is interest from the Town of Medfield, the Medfield Historical Society, MEMO, MMA, citizens and friends to help create the event that will mark the end of an era for our town. Call Nancy Norris for further information at 359-7520.

More About Medfield Historical Society
The Medfield Historical Society was established in 1891 as a private, not-for-profit organization that works to preserve, promote and share Medfield's history. It annually holds the Peak House Pantry Sale the Saturday before Thanksgiving, showcasing the Peak House and raising money for its ongoing maintenance. The Historical Society encourages community members interested in Medfield's history to join the society.
