Welcome to the Medfield Youth Outreach Blog!
This is our first adventure into the blogging world and we are excited to be a part of the Patch community of bloggers!
Medfield Youth Outreach (MYO) staff will be blogging every other week to discuss events we have coming up as well as tackling difficult issues for children, teens, and parents. Such topics may include how to reduce stress, what to do when you spot a bully, or noticing signs of depression in a friend. If you have a question that we can address for you, please comment below and we will do our best to address it in a future blog post.
Before we dive into things, here is a little information on what we do here at MYO:
1. We are a service of the Medfield Board of Health and we provide FREE and confidential counseling to Medfield youth and families.
2. We respond to the needs of youth and their families through prevention, education, and collaboration with other youth serving entities.
3. We connect residents to a variety of local resources.
4. We are an intake site for the Fuel Assistance Program and are available by appointment for that purpose after November 1st.
If you have any questions about services we provide please call us at 508 359 7121!
Stay tuned for our next post!
