Greta is a beautiful one-year-old German Shepherd mix.  She was relinquished to her town's Animal Control Officer because she kept chewing through the leash her family used to tie her up outside and would go off seeking adventure.  She loves the fenced area at the Shelter and would love to have a fenced yard at her next home.  She is very smart and very food motivated so she should be easy to train and quickly learned the Sit command.  She needs leash training because she pulls a lot and she also needs an owner that likes to run or walk daily since she is a young and energetic dog.  She will be spayed as soon as we can get her an appointment.  She is housebroken and is not destructive in her kennel.
