Warriors Look to Build On Impressive Week
Medfield High School's winter sports teams racked up the wins last week, look to build on that success.
The Medfield High School winter sports teams have yet to lose a game in 2011.
Since the calendar turned to January each winter sport racked up wins in the first week of the New Year. Every Warrior team is playing well and gaining momentum in their respective season. Here's a look at what each team faces this week:
Boys' Basketball:
The Warriors are building confidence with each game of the season and as a result have rattled off three straight wins to even their record at 3-3. Medfield hits the road for two games this week. The team will be in Ashland on Tuesday and Millis on Friday. Both games tip-off at 6:30 p.m.
Girls' Basketball:
Medfield continues to hold a tight grip on first place in the Tri-Valley League after two more TVL victories last week to improve its record to 7-0 overall and 6-0 in the league. The Warriors beat Westwood last Tuesday and Bellingham last Friday. This week the team hosts Ashland Tuesday and Millis Friday. Both games are at 6:30 p.m.
