Letterboxing is a fun and inexpensive way to keep the kids (and adults, too) entertained this summer.
It is similar to geocaching.
Letterboxing.org has a list of clues for cities and towns all over the country -- we've letterboxed in several places throughout the Northeast and on the West Coast. It's like a little treasure hunt wherever you are, at home or away on vacation or visiting relatives (who might also like to play).
