Poll: Friendly’s Farewell in Medfield
Friendly’s closed its doors to its Medfield location Tuesday night. Will you miss the ice cream and family restaurant on Main Street?
The empty parking lot and blank roadside sign said it all – Friendly’s in Medfield has closed for good.
As a result, the Friendly, family-oriented restaurant and ice cream shop that had been serving patrons in Medfield since 1975, closed its doors permanently Tuesday night, leaving behind a not-so-friendly message on its entrance door window for customers.
“Thank you for your patronage,” the sign read. “This restaurant has permanently closed.”
So Medfield, we want to know, will you miss it?
