Police Log: Summons for Arrest, Erratic Drivers, Cemetery Vandalism

Here's a glance at the Medfield safety log for Nov. 23 and Nov. 24.

 

Friday, Nov. 23

1:03 a.m., Norfolk. Norfolk Police reported a drunk male in the woods in their town on Massachusetts Avenue and asked Medfield to send a car to check the area near the town line.  

6:14 a.m., North Meadows Road. Caller reported a car went off the raod at Route 27 and Dale Street near the cemetery. A wrecker was called but the driver was able to drive the car home. 

9:28 a.m., South Street. Police are seeking a summons for a 45-year-old man from Framingham for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and defective equipment.

12:48 p.m., South and Curve Streets. Police are doing radar in this area. One citation was issued.

1:13 p.m., Main Street. Walk-in report from a woman who lost her wallet at Shaw's this afternoon.

4:48 p.m., Elm Street. A woman came into the station with a credit card she found at the Wheelock School fields. Police left a message for the owner of the card.

9:57 p.m., Adams Street. Caller reported an erratic driver in the area. Police did not find the vehicle. 

10:09 p.m., High Street. Walpole Police reported an erratic driver near Jorie Lane. Police did not find the vehicle.

10:49 p.m., Main Street. walk-in report of assault and battery.

Saturday, Nov. 24

6:40 a.m., Pound Street. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle near the dumpster at Tilden Village. Police discovered the vehicle belongs to a resident there.

8:30 a.m., Miller Street. The funeral home requested an escort from Miller Street to St. Edward's Church to Norfolk. 

10:11 a.m., Vine Lake Cemetery. Cemetery representatives said a plexiglass container containing maps and guides in the old section of the cemetery was stolen.

7:15 p.m., Tannery Drive. A caller requested an ambulance for someone who fell down the stairs. Medfield Fire transported patient to Needham.

7:34 p.m., Hearthstone Drive. Caller reported a vehicle pulled into the driveway of a house where the owners are not home. Police checked the house which was secure.
