Police Log Including One Summons, Several Car Accidents, Decoy Ducks, and a Cat Bite

Here's a look at the police log for Oct. 19 and Oct. 20.

 

Friday, Oct. 19

6:29 a.m., Route 27 and West Street. Caller reported a minor car accident at Route 27 and West Street.

7:39 a.m., Main and Brook Streets. Caller reported a minor car accident near Main and Brook Streets.

10:56 a.m., Main and Brook Streets. Police pulled over a black 1999 Nissan Altima. Police are seeking a summons to arrest a 33-year-old Millis woman with (1) operating after revocation of registration, and (2) uninsured motor vehicle.

1:17 p.m., Route 27 and West Street. Caller reported a three-car crash with personal injury at Route 27 and West Street. 

5:22 p.m., Philip Street. Caller reported someone hit a small deer on Philip Street. 

6:41 p.m., Plain Street. Newton-Wellesley Hospital reported they were treating someone for a cat bite.

7:35 p.m. Prentiss Place, Haven Road. Callers reported a man from MASSPIRG was soliciting after dark. Police told him to stop.

7:55 p.m., Green Street. Police responded to a fire box that was pulled by kids who were gone when the fire department arrived.

8:33 p.m., Green and Brook Streets. Caller reported suspicious man who turned out to be the MASSPIRG worker waiting for a ride.

9:32 p.m., South Street. Ambulance was called to high school for a 17-year-old football player who suffered a concussion during the game.

Saturday, Oct. 20

6:56 a.m., Stagecoach Road. Caller reported possible gun shots in the area, and also a truck parked at the pumping station at South Street and Indian Hill Rd. Police did not find anyone near the truck and the area was quiet.

2:30 p.m., Philip Street. Caller reported she was walking and came across a dead deer by the side of the road.

4:56 p.m., Spring Street. Police helped with church traffic.

5:55 p.m., West Street. Caller reported a cone and decoy ducks in the water behind the sewer treatment plant with no one around. 

9:11 p.m., Bunker Road. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle in front of his neighbor's house; when he went to check on it, it drove away slowly. Gone on arrival.

10:06 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported an erratic driver on Main Street who turned onto Brook Street. Police spoke with driver and all was clear.
