Police Log: Attempted House Break, Two Arrests, Kids "Up to No Good," Stolen Pumpkins, Stuck Ring, and Missing Girlfriend
Here is a look at the Medfield safety log for Oct. 7 and Oct. 8.
Sunday, Oct. 7
12:12 a.m., Elm Street. Police spotted a suspicious vehicle at the Wheelock School. Car was registered to a Winchester address.
8:02 a.m., Spring Street. Police provided traffic control at 8:02 a.m., 10 a.m., and 12:05 p.m.
9:32 a.m., Causeway Street. Caller reported that she had four pumpkins stolen during the night.
1:06 p.m., Bridge Street. Caller reported she had a ring stuck on her finger. Medfield Fire Department responded and cut off the ring.
5:25 p.m., Kamark Drive. Police responded to a family disturbance.
Monday, Oct. 8
7:55 a.m., Hawthorne Drive. Caller reported she is housesitting and the dog ran away.
9:21 a.m., North Meadows Road. Police stopped a Lincoln Town Car on Route 27. A 65-year old Boston man (driving a car registered in Holliston) was charged with operating after revocation of registration, and having no inspection sticker.
10:46 a.m., West Street. Police assisted the Environmental Police in the arrest of a 56-year-old Bellingham man for operating a motor vehicle (1998 Dodge Dakota pickup truck) with a licensed revoked as a habitual traffic offender.
12:30 p.m., Oriole Road. Caller reported an aggressive dog in her neighborhood. Animal Control was notified. Police determined the dog did not belong to the house where it was found, and there were two other reports that the dog was aggressive.
4:28 p.m., Miller Street. Walk-in complaint that someone tried to gain access to her house at 3:30 a.m. Police will conduct extra checks during patrols.
5:34 p.m., Dale Street. Caller reported youths in the cemetery that she believes are "up to no good" and wants them checked out. Police did not find the youths.
6:33 p.m., North Meadows Road. State Police reported a car hit a deer near Hospital Road.
6:35 p.m., South Street. Caller reported a missing person. He said his girlfriend was late getting home from work. Four minutes later, he called back to say she was home.
