Police Log: 16-Year-Old Has Too Much to Drink, Assault and Battery on Fox Lane

Saturday, Dec. 8
5:26 p.m., North Meadows Road. Police pulled over a car and issued a verbal warning.
5:45 p.m., Spring Street. Traffic control at St. Edward's Church.
5:48 p.m., Main Street. Caller said he lost a money clip on Friday night.
6:05 p.m., Bridge Street. Caller reports vehicles parked on both sides of the street for a party in the area of Bridge and West Streets. Police checked the area, saw the party was letting out, and would follow up later.
6:06 p.m., Spring Street. Police pulled over a car near Spring Street and Pine Grove Road and issued a verbal warning for failure to display headlights.
7:18 p.m., Main Street. Police pulled over a car and issued a verbal warning.
8:27 p.m., Hospital Road. Police noticed a car parked near Oddessey House with on one around. Police discovered the owner was walking a dog.
9:05 p.m., Tannery Drive. Caller reported a group of three white males and one black male walking around in the area; when caller confronted them, they ran off toward Sewel Court. Police did not find the group.
9:28 p.m., Main Street. Police pulled over a white Chevy pickup truck near the Millis line. Police are seeking a summons for a 26-year-old man from Millis for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle, no inspection sticker.
10:07 p.m., North Street and Frairy Street. Caller reported a vehicle parked in the middle of the road with no lights on. Police found the vehicle and located the driver who will move the vehicle.
11:13 p.m., Indian Hill Road. Caller requested an ambulance for a 16-year-old boy who had too much to drink and is sick. Police and fire departments responded.
Sunday, Dec. 9
8:09 a.m., 6:49 p.m. Spring Street. Helped with church traffic at St. Edwards Church.
9:12 a.m., Main Street. Helped with church traffic at United Church of Christ.
10:19 a.m., Main Street. Man into station to say he lost his wallet near the gazebo last night.
1:21 p.m., Main Street. Employee requested an ambulance for an elderly customer who fell. Medfield Fire took her to Norwood Hospital.
3:17 p.m., North Street. Caller reported a minor motor vehicle accident. Paperwork was exchanged.
4:24 p.m., Frairy Street. Caller wanted it logged that, at about 4:30 a.m. today, he heard a noise outside. When he looked, he saw a man with a light on his head going through the dumpster. He had a white pickup truck.
4:52 p.m., Haven Road. Caller reported hearing gunshots in the field behind the school where people walk their dog. All quiet now.
8:26 p.m., Fox Lane. E911 caller reported a disturbance. David T. Powell, 45, of Medfield was arrested and charged with assault and battery.
