PATCH PHOTO CONTEST: How Good-Looking is Your Pet?

As part of a photo contest series, Patch is looking for the prettiest pet in town. Our editors will be judging the photos you send in.

When it comes to Patch readers, we knew that pets would be an important part of your lives and we want to know who has the best-looking pet.

This contest is open to readers of Stoughton Patch, Dover-Sherborn Patch, Westwood Patch, Norwood Patch, Dedham Patch, Medfield Patch, Walpole Patch, Sharon Patch, Easton Patch, Mansfield Patch, Norton Patch, Foxborough Patch and Wrentham Patch.

Upload a picture of your pet to this article (by clicking the "upload photos and videos" button underneath the picture).

Then vote for your favorite picture by giving the photo number in the comments below.

Voting will end at 9 a.m. on Monday, August 6. So get in your vote.

One vote per person, please.

The winner will be announced before noon on Monday, August 6.

This is part of Patch’s summer Picture of the Week series, where we’re asking you for your best pictures on a certain topic each week.

We’ve added a little incentive. The winning submission will get a $75 gift card, plus bragging rights.

We’ll be taking photo submissions each week from 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 31 through noon Friday, August 3. 

On Tuesday, Aug. 7 be sure to check back at 9 a.m. for our next contest, which will be Sunsets. Start snapping your photos if you don't have one of a sunset on hand.

So is this really a popularity contest where everyone votes for their own dogs and gets their fiends to do it too? Who really votes on this? If it's who can get the most friends to vote .. that's crazy, you can remove mine as it certainly won't be who has the most goodlooking dog as the contest says. It should be in house (Patch staff) voting. Sorry, I won't come back to your page then if it's lets ram the votes up with family & friends to vote. That's not the objective way.

I don't think this is turning into a vote for cutest dog, it's more like who has more online friends/family to vote for them. My opinion is all dogs are cute but some are definitly cuter. The Patch editors should choose a top 5 and then take votes from the peanut gallery :)
