By Greg Shanahan

Norfolk County Registrar of Deeds William P. O’Donnell delivered this year's Toys for Tots donations to U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Richard Dobbyn on Dec. 19, 2012.

On hand to deliver the toys with Registrar O’Donnell were Norfolk County Commissioners Francis W. O’Brien of Dedham (Chairman), John M. Gillis of Quincy and Peter H. Collins of Milton. Registrar O’Donnell expressed his gratitude for the generosity of the Registry of Deeds employees, title examiners, attorneys and many Norfolk County residents for contributing to the Toys for Tots drive.

“I would like to thank everyone who generously donated to the Registry’s 6th Annual Toys for Tots Drive. We are grateful for the service of all veterans past and present and are, as always, honored to partner with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve in their annual toy drive which helps make the holiday brighter for so many,” said Registrar O’Donnell.

Anyone interested in making a donation can still do so by contacting the Greater Boston Toys for Tots at www.toysfortots.org or by calling (617) 737-0500.
