Medfield High School's 2012 Athletic Wall of Fame Inductees Announced

Three Medfield High School alumni to be inducted into the Athletic Wall of Fame.

Since May 28, 1987, outstanding alumni athletes have been annually inducted into the Athletics “Wall of Fame.”

Charles F. Mains was the first inductee. He coached football, basketball and baseball from 1949 – 1956; he was also the principal of Medfield High School from 1956–1970.

Each inductee since has had their name added to the Athletic Wall of Fame.  The “Wall” hangs in Medfield High School, just outside the library doors.  Written just above the names of those inducted is the following, “The spirit, the will to win and to excel – these are the things that endure.”

These three former Medfield High School athletes will be inducted on May 29 at the Athletics Award Night.
