The Medfield Warrior Field Hockey team won a close one on Tuesday over
Needham 1-0.

In a non-league matchup, the teams battled to a 0-0 halftime score.

Then, about halfway through the second half, Senior Captain Lily Beardsley found the back of the goal after a mad scramble arouind the front of the net. She was assisted by Sophomore Colleen Gair.

Getting the shutout in net for the Warriors was Senior Captain Carrie Cook -- this was her 9th shutout of the season.

The Lady Warriors are now 7-4-3 and play at Medway today and then host Hopkinton Friday afternoon.
