=====================
Well our backyard water is down about seven or eight inches, no [sic, "so"] nice to see. The beaver dam at South St. was flowing fast on Thursday and Friday. Sunday, today, a different story, our little eager beavers have worked overtime this weekend and they have patched up the breech to a trickle and all is back to beaver normal!!!!

I checked the dam yesterday and it looks like the water was running pretty well through the notch. Did someone breach it again?
I large of branches line up on the ground near the dam. I don't know if that's what was pulled off the dam or if the beaver were stacking stick to make the dam bigger. I would think anyone clearing the dam would have spread the debris out.

Checked out the dam last night and again at noon today. Last night there was just a notch and all the sticks piled up on the embankment. Today at lunchtime, there's a gap about 10' wide with flowing water and all the debris is gone. I guess someone must of done a bunch more work this morning. The water is flowing freely and is much higher downstream.
