Gas Prices Surge More Than 30 Cents in a Month; Are You Driving Less?
The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline is now up to $3.69 -- does that affect your amount of driving?
Gas prices in Medfield continue their upward march, with prices reaching the highest point ever in February and up more than a quarter in the past month.
AAA Southern New England said its survey of prices in Massachusetts on Monday found self-serve, regular unleaded gas averaging $3.72 per gallon, four cents higher than a week ago and up 31 cents over the past month.
Today, the average price of a gallon of regular gas in Medfield is $3.69, slightly lower than the Massachusetts average.
The least expensive gallon of gas in Medfield today is being sold at Cumberland Farms at $3.67 a gallon, followed by both Irving and Sunoco at $3.69 a gallon, and Gulf at $3.73 a gallon.
