Discovering the Perfect One-Stop Shop in Medfield
Lovell's on Main Street had it all from the perfect gifts for mother's day and other spring occasions to plants, seed and soil for the garden you're looking to start.
Do you still need to pick up a gift for Mother’s Day? If so, not to fear - Lovell’s Flowers, Greenhouse & Nursery and its gift shop, Accents By Lovell, is here (and near!) where you are sure to find the perfect gift.
Lovell’s is located at 160 Main St. (Route 109) and has everything for Mom from traditional floral bouquets to lawn ornaments to Vera Bradley bags and John Medeiros jewelry.
I popped in last week to pick up a few plants for the garden and scout out the cut flowers for this weekend.

The place was buzzing with activity as customers made their way through well-organized displays of flowers and trees, grass seed mix and rakes, lawn ornaments and furniture, bird baths and fountains, while receiving friendly and helpful advice from the Lovell’s staff when solicited.
The next thing I knew, I had spent almost two hours wandering through the complex and my cart was nearly full with potting soil and birdseed from the garden center, plants from the nursery, and a bouquet for a friend who was visiting from out of town.

And then I entered the Accents by Lovell – a gift shop that has my number. What a joy to walk into this quaint little shop full of jewelry, hand bags, hats, baby gifts, garden flags, First Communion jewelry, and a beautiful display of hand-designed glassware and accessories that are sure to please the Artist Mom in your life.
Needless to say, 45 minutes later, I had the same predicament – two arms full of gifts including a pair of earrings for a friend (Amos Pewter), a gift for my mother for next Easter (all Easter merchandise is 50 percent off), a few other things, and – of course – a pair of Celtic earrings (Kit Heath) for myself.
But still nothing for Mom for Mother’s Day …
So if you’re out today looking for the perfect gift for your mother, or if you need a First Communion or graduation gift, stop into Lovell’s – you’ll be glad you did. I know I’ll be back there today for a fresh bouquet of flowers that will surely be a hit on Sunday!
