Here's a glance at the Medfield safety log for Feb. 15 and Feb. 16.
Friday, Feb. 15
3:19 a.m., Main Street. Caller said he is behind a truck operating erratically on Route 109 heading toward Millis. Millis Police were contacted.
5:17 a.m., Bridge Street and West Street. Traffic enforcement. Two citations.
6:28 a.m., Spring Valley Road. Caller reported a strange car (small SUV) parked on the road this morning. It was parked there for a while then took off at a high rate of speed.
8:31 a.m., Homestead Drive and High Street. Caller reported a black lab running around by the edge of the road.
10:40 a.m., South Street. North Attleboro Police requested Medfield make a death notification. Notification made.
2 p.m., Main Street. A hair salon employee requested an ambulance for a 26-year-old female with food allergies who needed to take her epi-pen. Medfield Ambulance took her to Norwood Hospital.
4:31 p.m., Main Street. Caller said she was in a car accident (no personal injury) at Routes 27 and 109. Vehicles were a 2005 Honda Odyssey and a 2006 Toyota Highlander.
5:36 p.m., Main Street. Police attempted to serve a summons. At 5:48 p.m., attempt unsuccessful. At 7:48 p.m., order was served to wife who said she will give it to her husband.
7:22 p.m., North Meadows Road. Caller reports he is behind an erratic driver. Vehicle stopped at North Meadows and Bridge; police said the driver was okay.
8:16 p.m., Pound Street. Caller requested a well-being check on her mother at Tilden Village. She spoke with her mother last night and she was not feeling well. Police sid hte lights were on, they gained access, ambulance was contacted. The mother will contact her daughter.
8:21 p.m., Frairy Street. Caller reported an elderly female was choking. A nurse was helping her and an ambulance was on the way. Woman was soon breathing and talking.
Saturday, Feb. 16
12:44 a.m., Main Street. Traffic enforcement. One verbal warning.
9:03 a.m., Nebo Street and Hillcrest Drive. Caller reported a car accident with no personal injury. Cars involved were a 2000 Ford Escort and a 2005 Mazda6. One vehicle was towed.
4:25 p.m., Main Street. A restaurant manager reported that one of the cooks has a laceration. Medfield Ambulance took the cook to Norwood Hospital.
