Bubbling Brook is Back!

The restaurant, established in 1951, opened for the season on Wednesday.

They're back. Bubbling Brook is back and better than ever.

On Wednesday, at 11 a.m., The Bubbling Brook Restaurant on Route 109 near the Westwood/Walpole line re-opened for its 62nd season.

According to its website, "'The Brook' symbolizes the start and end of summer for many in the community and is often a rite of passage for those that are new to the area."

Though the continuous snowfall leaves us doubting that summer is right around the corner, standing in line with lots of people and reviewing the list of 36 flavors, gives us some hope that summer is on its way.

Note: Soft serve is not yet open but will be in early April, according to a Bubbling Brook Facebook post on opening day.

See you at The Brook!

Has this eatery always been known as The Bubbling Brook?

According to www.BubblingBrook.net, it has had that name since 1951. The building dates to 1897 so I wonder what it was before then. Does anyone know?
