Arrest for Breaking and Entering, Facebook Post Raises Concern, Barking Dog

Here's a glance at the Medfield safety log for Feb. 24 and Feb. 25.

 

 

Sunday, Feb. 24

1:38 a.m., Granite Street. E911 caller said her doctor wants her transported to the hospital because she has a high fever, vomiting, abdominal pain. Medfield Ambulance took her to Needham Hospital.

7:55 a.m, 12:20 p.m., 6:59 p.m., Spring Street. Traffic control at St. Edward's Church.

9:37 a.m., North Meadows Road. Motor vehicle (2002 Honda Accord) stop results in the arrest of Korey Nicholas Testa, 23, of 22 Frairy Street, Apt. 3, Medfield, on a default warrant for breaking and entering. 

11:33 a.m., Lauren Drive. E911 caller requested said his daughter had surgery on Wednesday, has a headache, and requested an ambulance take her to Children's Hospital in Boston. 

12:44 p.m., Pine Street. Caller said his mailbox was hit by a plow truck on Feb. 17. He was told to call the highway department.

7:47 p.m., North Meadows Road. Highway Department Bobby Kennedy Jr reported that all roads have been treated, and the DPW will start again in the early morning. 

9:46 p.m., North Meadows Road. Police reported that roads are covered with snow. Highway Department was notified.

11:02 p.m., Farm Street. Caller reported a vehicle in a snowbank. A 1999 Chevy was towed. 

Monday, Feb. 25 

7:20 a.m., Main Street and Robert Sproul Road. Traffic control at school crossing.

10:48 a.m., station. Police assisted a resident with fingerprints for employment.

10:57 a.m., Peter Kristoff Way. Medfield American Legion representative said that he received a solicitation from someone claiming to be with the Medfield American Legion. 

11:33 a.m., Miller Street. Funeral home requested an escort to Vine Lake Cemetery.

4:14 p.m., Farm Street. Walk-in report from a person who said their fence was damaged in the last two days.

8:05 p.m., Nauset Street. Caller said he was concerned about a Facebook posting he received from a past friend. Police spoke with the parents.  "All is well at home."

10:13 p.m., Lowell Mason Road and Johns Avenue. Caller said a white car (1997 Pontiac Grand Am) is parked on the corner and should not be there. Police went to the house but no one was home.

10:31 p.m., Dale Street. Caller reported a barking dog near Frairy Street. Police did not find the barking dog.
