Forecast for Friday: The National Weather Service based in Taunton says chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4 p.m.  High near 92.  Southwest wind 6 to 10 mph.  Friday night: Chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10 p.m.  Low around 70.  Southwest wind 3 to 6 mph.

Town Hall: Meetings

  • No meetings scheduled.

Library Events: 

  • Open today: 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • No special events scheduled.

Community Events: 

  • 7:30 p.m., Robert D. Hersee Dedication Concert at Blake Middle School; $15 per person. Doors open at 7 p.m.

  • 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Hinkley Swim Pond open 7 days a week, weather permitting
