Medfield Teens Rock to Raise Money for Bikes Not Bombs
James Gordon, Jason Ebbs and Zac Kassay of Medfield were among 110 students from all over Massachusetts who performed at "Rock the Bike," a 3-night benefit concert for Bikes Not Bombs on January 18, 19 & 20. The event was presented by Plugged In, a non-profit rock band program in Needham empowering youth ages 8-18 to create positive change in the world through music.
Plugged In will be hosting a housewarming at their new location at 20 Freeman Place in Needham on Sunday, February 10 from 2:00-4:00 PM. The event, open to anyone interested in becoming part of the Plugged In community as a student, volunteer or board member, is a special opportunity to see the new facility close up, meet students, teaching and administrative staff, as well as the founders and board of directors.
The spring session of the Plugged In Band Program begins on February 25 and is open to ages 8-18. The registration deadline for the spring session is February 15.
