Medfield Lions Donate Chowder Fest Proceeds to FOSI

Last November the Medfield Lions Club teamed up with the Friends of Seniors Inc. (FOSI) to host Medfield’s Third Annual Chowder Fest. The event featured comforting chowder tastings from seven area restaurants/markets including Basils, Noon Hill, Zebra’s Bistro & Wine Bar, Fresh Catch Seafood, J&L Catering of Medway, and Roches Market. Delicious rolls were provided by Blue Moon Bagel Café. Thanks to their generosity the event was a great success. The winner of “Best Chowder” was J&L Catering of Medway. At the January Lions Dinner Meeting Lion  Tony Centore presented a check for $1,500 to FOSI President Bill Johnson who said “the funds raised will help to enhance the outdoor patio at the Center”. Roberta Lynch COA Director thanked the Lions for their continued generosity in supporting Medfield Seniors.
