A Chamber Music Concert suitable for all ages, children and adults, will be held Saturday, Jan. 26 at 2 p.m. at the Medfield Public Library.
This event is free and open to the public. Donations to the Medfield Library for their Music Library are gladly accepted, but not required.
Students of the conservatory-trained musicians, Maya Gurevich (piano), Elizabeth Leehey (clarinet), and Ellen McKinney (violin, viola) will be performing. The repertoire will include various classical pieces, including a Haydn String Quartet and a movement of Mozart's 'Kegelstadt Trio' for clarinet, viola and piano as well as various duets and other ensembles.
As Ellen McKinney noted, "My colleagues and I want to give our pupils the opportunity to perform chamber music with their peers from different communities in this area in a public setting. We think it's a valuable experience for students to be coached by musicians who play their instruments and those who play another instrument."
Please join us in this celebration of music.
