DETAILS: Caregiver Care, a program designed by Century Health Systems and the Medfield Council on Aging, aims to serve family caregivers in the MetroWest area. It was designed to provide support and technical skills to individuals who provide care to a family member or friend without compensation.

Navigating the confusing landscape of elderlaw and elder planning can be overwhelming – especially to those already stressed from their duties as caregivers. Mary Roque will review the documents necessary to protect assets of the elderly and address decision-making power for caregivers. She will also review the basics of estate planning, including joint ownership, pay on death assets, and wills and trusts in an easy-to-understand format.

The Caregiver Care Program is available through grants provided by the Tufts Health Plan Foundation.

There is no fee to attend, but registration is required. To reserve space, call 508-359-3665 or email coamedfieldoutreach@hotmail.com.

Century Health Systems is located at 209 West Central Street, Suite 316, Natick, Mass., 01760. For additional information, call 508-651-1786 or visit www.centuryhealth.org.
