On a warm Patriots Day Medfield residents lined up to give the gift of life. Blue Moon Bagel Cafe owners Dan and Linda Friedman teamed with the Red Cross and the Medfield Lions Club to host the event which netted 25 units of blood. Lion Tom Sweeney related that “ Dan and Linda have graciously worked with the Lions on several other charitable events at the “Moon” including a fall clothing drive in support of local shelters.” In true “Moon” spirit Dan Friedman was first in line to donate blood and Linda presented each donor with a gift certificate.
